Christmas & The Caribbean

We had a little bit different holiday this year.

It started off pretty normal with Christmas morning spent at my parent's house.

Cheyenne always has a good time with her cousins

Then after Christmas, we somehow ended up doing these things:

Needless to say we had a lot of fun on our 5-day cruise to the Caribbean, paid for by Ben's work.

And yes, I know you were all wondering, it was really hard to leave my baby. After about 3 days of "fun" I got a little teary-eyed at every baby I saw. It didn't help that I couldn't call home, and I kept wondering if my baby would have both her eyeballs when we got home. Luckily, my mom & dad took good care of her (with a lot of helpful aunts & uncles, thanks guys!) and she was in one piece when we got home.

We had a lot of fun on the boat, soaking up the sun, hanging out with Ben's coworkers, looking out at the ocean, and of course, enjoying the towel animals.

Our first stop was in beautiful Grand Cayman. We got a little adventurous and went parasailing. Ben was pretty nervous, especially since he is afraid of heights. But he conquered his fears and we had an awesome time. It really was an experience like nothing else. Soaring over the ocean, with the wind blowing in your face, and you feel like the only two people in the world.

After a fun day of parasailing we got to stop at the beautiful 7 Mile Beach. It really was a tropical paradise.

No editing needed. That's exactly what it looked like.

We shared a coconut on the way back to the boat.

Next stop, Cozumel, Mexico. Here is where we went snorkeling for the first time. We also stopped by the Cozumel museum and checked out a Mayan calendar.

A Mexican Christmas tree in the museum.

We spent one more day on the boat and soaked in our final sunset.

We had a great trip! Thanks to everyone who made it possible!
